Personally I've been growing very disillusioned with Technorati results - hopefully the change will be more than cosmetic.

You're absolutely right. We did fix some points - but a number of bugs remain, and we're working very hard to address them - please see my blog post for a list of a number of the biggest issues that aren't fixed yet, and we're working on in the month of June...
