Jascha Franklin-Hodge on Online Political Campaign Strategies and Tactics at MIXX Spring 2009

At the recent IAB Canada MIXX Spring 2009 I interviewed Jascha Franklin-Hodge from Blue State Digital, the organization that created my.barackobama.com. In the first part of the interview, Jascha discusses the importance of low barriers to entry on political campaign sites (well, on any site really) and how this facilitates reaching constituents through social networks.

In the second part of the interview, Jascha discusses the use of online video in Obama's campaign including the backroom videos and briefings - and how these videos can help make candidates and their supporters more authentic.
