September 3 - AdClub Internet Day 2009 - Toronto
As more of our lives are lived online, things that could never be quantified before are now measurable. From shopping to dating, metrics have become more precise and pervasive. But how much measurement is too much? What are the moral rules and the practical dangers? Jesse Brown explains how businesses and institutions can strike the right balance between ethics and effectiveness.
Speaking at Internet Day will be Jesse Brown, an award-winning journalist, broadcaster and humorist specializing in Social Media and Digital Rights issues. As a regular contributor to CBC radio and television and as the host of TVO's internet affairs program Search Engine, he has become an influential observer and critic of online culture.
