
Alexa Clark is a serial entrepreneur, photographer and social media addict currently based out of Toronto, ON. Her business endeavors include founding Ellipsis Interactive Consulting - one of the first exclusively New Media focused talent agencies in Canada in 1997; building and writing TheApprenticeBlog.com for 5 seasons, when she sold it; creating and publishing the CheapEats Restaurant Guide series selling over 15,000 copies so far. Alexa has been using the Internet regularly since 1984. (Yes, it was around then, and so was she.)
Prior to launching her first business, Alexa ran the technical and production side of an interactive marketing boutique as the Senior Technical Manager where clients included: YTV, GM, The Junos, RBC, IBM, Nortel. Alexa also worked at Nortel, Bell Northern Research, Cognos, and IBM as both a techie (programmer/software designer) and a suit (project manager/team lead). Alexa has a BMath from the University of Waterloo.
