Karel Wegert

Karel’s professional experience extends from media planning and buying, SEO and Pay per Click, to corporate re-branding and logo design. He currently works at CESART, an interactive marketing firm located in Montreal, where he has worked on search and e-media campaigns for such clients as Bell Canada, Sears Travel, EDC, Net Club and Aldo Shoes.

With an entrepreneurial background, Karel Wegert has a broad range of experience in both traditional and interactive marketing. He spent 4 years with an automotive accessory company (manufacturer of performance parts) which he co-founded. There he developed strategies to move the company’s product line from traditional distribution channels to an exclusively online operation and worked to increase visibility through search engine marketing and eMedia advertising campaigns.

Karel holds a BBA in marketing from Bishop’s University.
