Tim Willison is the director of Oddly Studios Inc., a multimedia development shop bringing ideas to life in a refreshingly creative manner.
Tim is a graduate of Seneca’s Digital Media Arts program where he received the Award for Academic Excellence and was a top-three finalist for the CNMA Graduate of the Year Award. A four-year member of the Seneca Board of Advisors, he currently teaches Advanced Object Oriented Development at the college. Formerly lead of interactive development for Organic Inc., he was named an official Organic spokesperson and received the inaugural Award for Exceptional Innovation for the design and development of productivity tools.
In addition, he is a board member with the Digital Arts and Technology Association, a frequent guest speaker on subjects such as user-experience and site architecture, a prolific contributor to open-source projects and the author of two code frameworks.
In 2005, Tim founded the popular Fall Tour of Interactive Studios which has since grown to involve over 40 volunteers, four colleges, two universities, and more than a dozen of the top studios in Toronto. Active in the fine-arts community, Tim created the in-house artist program at Oddly to facilitate the merging of fine arts and interactive media. In addition, he has two short stories in printed publication - and he blogs at Oddly Onward.
